Terms of Use
These terms govern access to Regulation Navigator’s educational content, accounts, interactive tools, memberships, gifts, and protected member materials.
1. Educational service—not clinical care
Regulation Navigator is an educational self-regulation framework. It is not psychotherapy, medical care, psychiatric care, diagnosis, clinical assessment, crisis intervention, or a substitute for individualized professional care.
Assessment scores, checkpoint observations, profile patterns, Navigate Now suggestions, Anchor Actions, and AI-assisted classifications are educational information. They should not be treated as medical findings or instructions from a licensed professional.
2. Your account
Account creation requires confirmation that the user is at least 16 years old and acknowledgement of the current Terms of Use and Privacy Notice. You are responsible for using accurate account information, protecting access to your sign-in credentials and email, and using your account only for lawful purposes. Do not share private access credentials, attempt to access another person’s saved information, or bypass membership/access controls.
If you allow another person to use a device where you remain signed in, information visible in your Profile, Assessment history, or Navigator’s Log may be accessible to that person.
3. Membership access
Free accounts can access public psychoeducation. Interactive tools and protected member materials require an eligible paid, gifted, Complete, Starter, or authorized private-access status as described on the Membership page.
Access can end when a fixed term expires, a recurring subscription ends, payment is not successfully completed, a gift term expires, a private-access authorization is withdrawn, or an account is restricted for misuse. Losing paid access does not automatically delete saved assessment or log history.
Specific billing, renewal, cancellation, and gift conditions are described in the Subscription & Gift Terms.
4. Navigate Now and automated matching
Navigate Now may use an AI-assisted classifier to match the text you enter to a Regulation Navigator Navigation Point, with a rules-based fallback if the AI step is unavailable. Automated output can misunderstand context, omit important information, or select a Point that does not fit.
You remain the Navigator. You can reject a suggestion, choose another Point, stop an activity, seek support, or use another resource. No automated suggestion creates a professional-client relationship or a duty of clinical care.
5. Assessment and personal patterns
The Navigation Assessment is a proprietary self-reflection tool, not a validated diagnostic instrument. The seven Point scores summarize your responses; optional checkpoints are stored separately and are exploratory observations. Longitudinal relationships describe associations in your own saved data and do not establish cause.
See the Assessment Methodology for scoring, interpretation boundaries, and pattern safeguards.
6. Appropriate use of activities
Anchor Actions and other exercises are intended to be adaptable. Stop, reduce, or change an activity if it causes pain, dizziness, panic, disorientation, escalating distress, or another concerning response. Individual medical, sensory, mobility, trauma, disability, medication, pregnancy, or health considerations may make some activities inappropriate.
When you are unsure whether an activity is appropriate for your health or circumstances, seek individualized guidance from a qualified professional.
7. Intellectual property and permitted use
Regulation Navigator™, the Seven Navigation Points, Navigation Algorithm, Decision Matrix, assessment structure, Anchor Actions presentation, protected guides, text, graphics, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Regulation Navigator unless otherwise indicated.
Your membership gives you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service and member materials for your own lawful personal use. Unless you have written permission, you may not resell, republish, redistribute, scrape, systematically copy, remove access controls from, or make a competing commercial library from protected content.
You retain ownership of original text you personally enter into the service. You give the service permission to process that text as necessary to provide the requested feature.
8. Availability and changes
We may update, correct, replace, suspend, or discontinue features when needed for security, maintenance, product development, provider changes, legal requirements, or service reliability. We do not promise that every feature will be uninterrupted or error-free at all times.
When a temporary technical failure occurs, Regulation Navigator may use fallbacks or show an unavailable state. A failed save is not considered successful unless the service confirms it.
9. Third-party services and links
The service relies on third-party infrastructure, authentication/database, payment, and AI-processing providers. Third-party websites and services have their own terms and privacy practices. Regulation Navigator is not responsible for the independent content or availability of external sites.
10. No guarantee of outcomes
Self-regulation strategies can affect people differently. Regulation Navigator does not guarantee that an Anchor Action, assessment pattern, Navigation Point, product recommendation, or other feature will produce a particular emotional, behavioral, health, relationship, or life outcome.
11. Misuse and account restrictions
We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, protected content, payment systems, infrastructure, or the integrity of the service—for example, suspected unauthorized access, fraud, attacks on the service, attempts to circumvent access controls, or prohibited redistribution of protected materials.
12. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the product changes. Material revisions will be reflected by a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after updated terms take effect may be treated as acceptance where permitted by applicable law.
These are pre-launch product terms drafted to match the current service design. They should be reviewed by qualified counsel before broad public launch, including jurisdiction-specific consumer, minor, privacy, subscription, accessibility, and digital-product requirements.
